Mining and metallurgical technologies, engineering and equipment («Ukrrosuglemashservice») has been engaged in supply of mining machinery and mineral-processing equipment, development of technologies for mineral processing and technogenic waste since 1994.
Mining and metallurgical technologies, engineering and equipment is a company that combines the efforts of various specialists in mining industry in implementation of innovative projects in dynamically changing situation within the research organizations and approaches to organization of scientific and technical activities.
The company carries out the development of enrichment technologies, mineralogical and technological research and technical and economic evaluation of mining projects.
The main types of raw materials for operation were iron, apatite-ilmenite and titanium, gold-bearing and polymetallic ores of metallogenic belt.
We cooperate with leading scientific and technical organizations in the field of mineral and technogenic waste processing.

For 29 years of operation our specialists have performed the following works:
During the period since 1994 until 2012 we have supplied the whole range of mining and processing equipment, manufactured by Ukrainian and Russian factories (road headers and coal combines, supports, rock loading and delivery machines, main ventilation fans and lifting units, scraper and belt conveyors, sinking and shunting winches, electric contact and battery locomotives, tunneling complexes, transformer substations, pumping stations, electrical equipment and starting equipment, stands and skips, pumps, electric motors, wagons and drilling machines, screens, sieves, centrifuges and scrubber drills, hydrocyclones and magnetic separators, as well as spare parts for them) to Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Slovakia, Ukraine, Romania and the Islamic Republic of Iran. – For SC LCC COMPANIA CARBUNELUI (Romania) we designed, manufactured, supplied and installed a coal sludge processing complex with capacity of 2,500 tons/day, c. Vulcan (Romania) in 2008-2010;
– For S.C. ROPAMIAL S.R.L, Constanta (Romania), we developed the technology and plant for technogenic waste processing (mixture of iron ore, bauxite and coke) with capacity of 100 t/hour in port Constanta (Romania) in 2013.
– For PSM Mineral Recycling SRL, Bucharest (Romania) we developed the technology and feasibility study of metallurgical sludge recycling that uses the ultrasound, and solid-phase recovery in rotary kilns in c. Galati (Romania) with capacity of 50 t/h in 2014-2015;

Since 2014 until 2017 we, together with GEM KANSAR PARS PJS, (Tehran), carried out a number of research works in the field of development of processing technology for iron, titanium-magnetite, ilmenite, apatite and manganese ores for the following enterprises in Islamic Republic of Iran:

– Manufacturing and supply of equipment and commissioning of research center to perform the mechanical testing of dry high-intensity magnetic separation of non-metallic materials, namely quartz sand, feldspar, pegmatite and other mineral raw materials, as well as for dry magnetic separation of magnetite and hematite ores;
– The technology of coal sludge processing was developed in c. Kerman, Tabas, Shahrud, Zirab (Iran). The project of universal coal sludge processing plant with capacity of 50 t/h; 100 t/h; 150 t/h on initial raw material has been developed;
– The technology was developed and the preliminary design of universal pilot plant for direct reduction of iron in tubular rotary furnaces (TRF) was carried out.
– The research and development works were carried out and the technology for processing of titanium magnetite ores of Urumia deposit (Iran) was developed.
– The technology of iron ore processing of Shansabat deposit was developed.
– Development of technology for iron ore processing of deposit in c. Yazd.
– The surveys are carried out and the recommendations to increase the productivity of coal mining in coal mines of Iran are developed;
– Development of processing technology to produce titanomagnetite, ilmenite and apatite concentrates (Iran);
– Development of basic engineering for a new pelletizing plant with capacity of 0.4 million tons per year (Iran);
– Development of basic engineering for a new concentrator with capacity of 0.5 million tons per year (Iran).
In 2018-2023 we made the following works:
- For PSM Mineral Recycling SRL, Bucharest, Romania:
– we developed the technology and the feasibility study of steelmaking slag beneficiation at Hunedoara with capacity of 50 tons/hour;
– we developed the technology and the feasibility study of plant for briquetting of iron ore concentrate, obtained from steelmaking slag beneficiation;
– we developed the technology and the feasibility study for production of pig iron and ferrosilicon from iron ore concentrate, obtained from steelmaking slag beneficiation.
- For Societatea comeciala Environmental Research S.R.L, Petroşani, Romania:
– we are developing the technology for extraction of useful components from the flotation tailings at copper-containing ore beneficiation plant;
– we are developing the technology for extraction of manganese from the wastes of ferromanganese production plant.
- For LLC «Slavservis», Kosice, Slovakia – we developed the technology and the feasibility study on processing of zinc removal from convector sludge with capacity of 280,000 tons/year at US Steel metallurgical plant in Kosice, Slovakia.
Our company is able to offer the technologies for beneficiation of all types of minerals and processing of waste from metallurgical, coal, copper, aluminum, zinc, lead, gold mining production to our partners.
We have the extensive experience and capabilities in development of technologies for processing and enrichment of various types of industrial waste and technogenic raw materials. Our specialists are ready to work with samples of various types of the following technogenic raw materials that are stored and located in dumps and sludge pits:
– slags from ferrous metallurgy;
– slags from ferroalloy production;
– ash and slag from thermal power plants;
– sludge from coal preparation plants;
– slags of metallurgy of special (stainless) steels;
– slags of pyrite cinders;
as well as with wastes that contain the following elements:
– copper (Cu content from 0.3%);
– silver (Ag content from 50-100 g/t);
– gold (Au content from 1 g/t);
– chromium (Cr2O3 content from 8%);
– germanium (from 0.05%);
– platinum group metals (PGM) – palladium Pd, osmium Os, iridium Ir, rhodium Rh, ruthenium Ru – from 5-10 g/t;
– REE (rare earth elements) – lanthanum La, cerium Ce, praseodymium Pr, neodymium Nd, promethium Pm, samarium Sm, holmium Ho, erbium Er, thulium Tm, ytterbium Yb, lutetium Lu. The content of rare earth elements is about from 0.3 %;
– niobium (Nb2O5 content from 0.1%) and tantalum (Ta2O5 from 0.15%);
– pegmatite (quartz-feldspar raw material) and garnet;
In previous years, technological schemes were developed, and various technological equipment for processing was manufactured:
– slags from the steel-smelting production of the Zaporizhstal plant (a set of equipment with a capacity of 250 tons/hour);
– slag from the production of stainless and special steels of the Dneprospetsstal plant (a set of equipment with a capacity of 50 t/h);
– blast-furnace slags of the Dnieper region for the production of mineral powder;
– fly ash and slag from the Pridneprovsk thermal power plant;
– feedstock and waste from niobium-tantalum ore deposits in Rwanda (pilot production line for niobium and tantalum concentrates);
– chromites and chromium ore occurrences of the Bug region (industrial plant for the processing of chromite raw materials);
– breccia and ash containing germanium (Donetsk region) – experimental enrichment plant;
– rare earth elements from the deposits of the Azov region (pilot plant for obtaining concentrates of rare earth elements;
– copper and related elements of the African copper belt (mobile complex of crushing, grinding and processing equipment);
– pegmatites from the waste of the Takhtaevsky granite quarry (Poltava region) (industrial plant for the production of pegmatite and quartz-feldspar concentrates);
– garnets from screenings of granite quarries in Vinnitsa and Kirovograd regions (variants of technological lines for obtaining garnet concentrates have been worked out);
– a technology for processing pyrrite cinders has been developed.
